Our story begins, as all the best ones do, with a child, a book, and a moment of quiet magic.

Little Peanuts was born from the simple joy of watching a preschooler fall in love with reading —giggling at silly characters, whispering along with bedtime favourites, and discovering whole new worlds from the comfort of a lap.

As parents, we saw how books could soften tricky days, spark big conversations, and help little ones feel brave, curious, and wonderfully themselves. We wanted to create a place where families could find that same magic—somewhere warm, thoughtful, and full of stories chosen with care.

Being busy working parents ourselves, we knew how hard it could be to have the time to find the right books in the overwhelming shelves of the big bookstores. That’s why we started Little Peanuts, with one goal: to make it easier for families to discover brilliant children’s books without the overwhelm.

We built Little Peanuts, a small but mighty online children’s bookshop dedicated to books that nurture imagination and make reading feel like an adventure. Every title on our shelves is handpicked—no algorithms, no overwhelm, just stories we genuinely love and believe in.

We champion quality books – the ones we would want to have on our own shelves, the types of books that children reach for again and again. And because we’re a family run shop, every order is packed with the same joy and attention we’d give to a gift for our own child.
